The second method is to go into a low sec system and conduct a directional scan but set it to the largest possible scanning range and at 360 degrees. This will reveal any hidden belts in the area, do this several times in the whole system to make sure you’ve covered everywhere. I found many hidden omber belts and some even in 0.7 space.
